Apparently Christian plays the role of Young Lieutenant in Valkyrie, the new Bryan Singer film. He doesn't seem to be listed on IMDB or anywhere else so I assume it's a very small role. The film is being released in the US on 25 December and in the UK on 23 January. For release dates in other countries, check here. You can watch the trailer on the official Valkyrie website.

From Wikipedia:

"Valkyrie is a 2008 historical thriller film directed by Bryan Singer and starring Tom Cruise. The film is based on the July 20, 1944 plot of German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and marks the re-teaming of Singer and producer/screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie."

For more information on Valkyrie: Official website | Wikipedia | IMDB

Christian has recorded another Doctor Who audio drama for Big Finish. This time as the Fifth Doctor's new assistant, Robert McIntosh, a young Scottish scientist. The audio adventure is called The Haunting of Thomas Brewster and will be released on 30 April. Synopsis from the Big Finish website:

"A new adventure in time and space for the Fifth Doctor and his companion Nyssa.

Thomas Brewster is haunted by the ghost of his drowned mother. But she is not the only apparition to disturb his dreams. Every few years, he is visited by a mysterious blue box...

Helped by his new assistant, the young Scots scientist Robert McIntosh, the Doctor struggles to unravel the twisted knot of temporal implausibilities which bind the TARDIS to Thomas Brewster. Meanwhile, lost in the stews of Victorian London, Nyssa must face a host of spectral creatures gathering in the fog."

Pre-order links:
Big Finish
Amazon.co.uk
Play.com

We'd love to hear people's opinions about The Bride of Peladon as well. So if you've listened to it, don't hesitate to tell us what you thought of it. In case people were wondering, Christian's role is fairly big and it's an excellent story. Definitely worth a listen even if you're not a Doctor Who expert.
