I went to see the play in Cardiff last thursday and met Christian in the bar near the theatre afterwards. Really nice guy, he is. Play was grand!

We would definitely like a review, Eowyn. Did you go on Monday the 13th? 'Cause me and Liz went to see the play on that day as well. Christian told us he'd be having a drink at the theatre bar. ;-)

No, I was by myself! I was supposed to be going with two of my cousins but ended up going alone with their two spare seats beside me. I still wanted to go though as it was opening night!

I may go later this week and try to brave (yes, I am that shy!) the SD though.

Hello! Just seen the performance and it was fantastic...CC's best role by far. He seems to have developed so much as an actor, there was some real raw emotion there! His timing and delivery was spot on as well, it would've been so easy for him to ham it up in some of the more intense moments but he remained subtle and still managed to dominate the stage (even when he had no lines!). Also, the set is designed in such a way that you're completely drawn into the characters' lives. He looked pretty exhausted afterwards, it must have taken a lot out of him!

Anyhoo, I'll stop gushing! I'd definately recommend sitting closer to the front of the stage it makes you feel more involved in it all, I was on the third row near the middle and had a great view of the stage. Oh and without giving too much away, there's a moment in the play where he looked into the audience and said 'i love you'... I have to admit that my inner fangirl gave a little sigh! Bless him!

Looks really good! CC seems to have very good taste in the parts he chooses. I like the way he hasn't sold out to Hollywood and tends to stick with more 'serious' acting work......Festen is yet another to add to his growing list!
