Yeah it's touring this year in the UK but it's not the original cast (well from what one of the boys was saying it isn't). Was great to see SCM on stage again! Was also strange seeing it again and knowing it'll be the last time with that cast.

I do indeed know that the originals are taking over, am going to the last matinee :-D Get the £10 seats at the front if you can (although I suspect they're sold out now) if not then anywhere in the stalls. Circle is a last resort.

PS: What seat would you recommend at the National Theatre? Thought I'd ask before I get them as you guys are the HB buffs!

P.S. Do you and Liz know that for the final week of the History Boys they are using the original cast members! I get to see SCM after all....double yay!

Hello *waves* Haven't been on here for a while!
Yay! It's great to hear that Christian will be on tour... and in a play no less! Just one question, on the website it has Paul Nicholls down as playing Christian? Did he pull out or something?

And the new layout looks fab. Good job Suzan and Liz. :-)

It's Danish.

And for those wondering what the play is about:

Patriarch Helge Klingelfeldt is celebrating his 60th birthday at a magnificent old house in the Danish countryside. Surrounded by his loyal wife Else, his daughter Helene, sons Christian and Michael and a host of family and friends this promises to be a very special occasion. But as the evening progresses, eldest son Christian feels compelled to break the silence surrounding a family secret. Standing to propose a toast, he offers his father - much to the delight of the guests - an amusing yet simple choice… And so the games begin… amidst high etiquette and fine dining, revelations and accusations tumble across the dinner table, paving the way for a celebration no-one will ever forget!
